How Are Taoyuan Airport Transfer Fares Calculated?

Here are reference distances and travel times from major northern Taiwan areas to Taoyuan International Airport (T1/T2): Zhongzheng District, Taipei ~36km (40–50 min); Banqiao District, New Taipei ~28km (35–45 min); Taoyuan District ~12km (15–20 min); Keelung City ~55km (50–60 min); Hsinchu City ~65km (50–60 min); Yilan City ~90km (70–80 min).

Please note that the above travel times are reference values under normal traffic conditions. Early morning or late-night trips may be shorter due to lighter traffic, while rush hour trips require extra buffer time. Our driver team is familiar with traffic patterns at all times and will plan the optimal departure time when you book.

Additionally, late-night hours (typically 22:00–06:00) may incur a night surcharge, but we will clearly state this in the quote — absolutely no hidden fees. Flight delay waiting, luggage handling, and child seat services are all included at no extra charge.

Generally, airport pick-up fares are slightly higher than drop-off, mainly because pick-up requires additional waiting and flight tracking costs. Drop-off is more straightforward: the driver arrives at your door at the scheduled time and takes you directly to the airport. We recommend international flight passengers depart 3–3.5 hours before takeoff, and domestic flight passengers 2–2.5 hours early. Our booking confirmation text includes recommended departure times, so you don't have to calculate yourself.

Three-Step Booking Process
